  3.             Preliminary ALOG package

  6. Here are the files necessary to log events from parallel programs running
  7. on any of the following machines: SUN, NEXT, IBM3090, RS6000, SYMMETRY,
  8. BALANCE, MULTIMAX, BFLY1, BFLY2, BFLY2_TCMP, IPSC860_HOST, IPSC860_NODE,
  9. DELTA, TITAN, SGI.
  10.  
  11. Both C macros and Fortran-callable routines are included.
  12.  
  13. Log files created during execution are merged with the 'mergelogs' program 
  14. and viewed with upshot.  Upshot now supports state duration histograms and 
  15. a primitive animation facility (Edgewise upshot).
